Function

The Payload interface board is an interface module which connects payloads to the bus. The standard PIB contains a number of options for interconnects, but it can be customized for a particular mission if required. The Rev C PIB included gigagbit ethernet, as well as USB connections and a USB hub, which allows several payload devices to share a single USB connection to the bus
