Watchdog

The Terran Orbital Watchdog is a secondary, ‘sidekick’ processor which allows a single spacecraft to carry multiple flight computers, and moderates between them, ensuring that only one computer is actively controlling the spacecraft at one time, and the second module is available as a hot or cold spare. The watchdog also manages some anomaly resolution features, such as long duration timers.
