Ground Station Services
Offering worldwide connectivity
Terran Orbital owns and operates six ground stations to communicate with and receive satellite data in all orbital realms. This includes stations spanning all latitudes, as high north as Bardufoss, Norway, and as far south as Peterborough, Australia, allowing for frequent visibility of satellites in polar orbit and beyond.
The Terran Orbital-owned stations consist of both high gain UHF antennas and 3.7 m three-axis servo stabilized tracking antennas with both S-band transmit and receive and X-band receive capabilities. The ground network utilizes in-house-built station control and antenna time scheduling software and is operated by a skilled staff on-site at our Mission Operations Center in Irvine, California. Partner stations expand our network with additional UHF, S/X-Band, and Ka-Band capabilities.
