BOCA RATON, Florida, April 14, 2020 – PredaSAR Corporation is building and will operate the world’s largest and most advanced commercially operated Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite constellation, announced the appointment of Colonel Mike Moran, USAF (Ret), as Chief Operating Officer, effective today.
Col Moran joins PredaSAR from Peraton where, as Vice President of Space Strategies, he directed the growth strategy for Peraton’s Air Force space portfolio and shaped their broader space and cyber strategy within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Prior to Peraton, Col Moran spent time with Harris Corporation and served with distinction during a very successful 26-year Air Force career. He led during multiple command assignments at the squadron, group, and wing level including wing command of the Space Development and Test Wing, Kirtland AFB, NM. His Air Force career included tours in space, launch, cyber, airborne, and foreign military sales programs to include executive and enterprise leadership within Air Force Space Command, the National Reconnaissance Office, the Pentagon, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

Moran holds multiple master’s degrees including a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University and a Master of Science in Systems Management and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia. He is also a Certified Information Systems System Security Professional and Program Management Professional.
