Terran Orbital’s Grace Ochs Named to Via Satellite’s Rising Stars of 2025

Spacecraft Systems Engineer recognized for leadership on the Phoenix program.

IRVINE, Calif., July 29, 2025 — Terran Orbital today congratulated Grace Ochs, a Spacecraft Systems Engineer, on being selected as one of Via Satellite’s Rising Stars of 2025. This honor recognizes 25 young professionals, aged 35 and under, who are shaping the future of the space and satellite industry. The 2025 list, chosen from peer nominations and published on July 28, 2025, recognizes contributors across engineering, policy, business development, and more.

Ochs, 25, works as the lead systems engineer for Phoenix, one of Terran Orbital’s top-priority projects. During her first two years at the company, she has taken on roles ranging from individual contributor to lead technical coordinator and program manager—helping rework program schedules, publish key program documentation, and drive system-level integration. As Terran Orbital Program Engineering Director Michael Koenig notes, “Grace has both depth and breadth.”

“Grace exemplifies the talent, teamwork, and relentless execution that define Terran Orbital,” said Peter Krauss, Chief Executive Officer of Terran Orbital. “Her leadership on Phoenix and her impact across our engineering organization make this recognition richly deserved. We’re incredibly proud of Grace and excited for what she’ll achieve next.”

In response to the announcement, Ochs shared, “Thank you, this is such exciting news! I am very honored to be recognized alongside so many talented professionals in our industry. I’m grateful to my colleagues and mentors at Terran Orbital for their support and collaboration every step of the way.”

The full Via Satellite Rising Stars list appears in the August 2025 issue and online.
